Dave Lawler is an Editor at Axios, steering coverage of international affairs and writing the twice-weekly Axios World newsletter. Dave joined Axios as Deputy News Editor shortly after the company launched in early 2017. He previously spent four years with the London Daily Telegraph, most recently as Washington Correspondent. Dave played a central role in the Telegraph’s 2016 election coverage, contributing news stories, analysis and dispatches from the campaign trail. Dave was previously a Washington-based reporter on the Telegraph’s world news team. He provided on-the-ground reporting on topics ranging from political rallies to terror attacks.
