@hannahrkelley Hannah Kelley is a Research Assistant for the Technology and National Security Program at CNAS. Her work focuses on biotechnology, global semiconductor competition, U.S. national technology strategy, and international coordination on responsible technology use.
Before joining CNAS, Kelley interned with the International Trade Administration at the U.S. Department of Commerce (Atlanta), supporting southeastern export compliance and conducting market research. She then interned with the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations, following Security Council meetings and developing reports for the Vatican’s central offices in Rome. While there, Kelley focused on nuclear nonproliferation, data challenges in autonomous weapons systems, and information and communications technology in U.N. peacekeeping missions.
Kelley received both her master of international policy and her bachelor of arts in international affairs from the University of Georgia.
