Jacqueline White Menchaca
Jacqueline White Menchaca is a Master in Public Policy student at the Harvard Kennedy School. She is a U.S. Department of State Rangel Fellow; and a Harvard Belfer Center Student Fellow for International Affairs, where she conducts research on the Korea Project. Her particular focus is on North Korea’s circumvention of sanctions through the use of cryptocurrency. Formerly, she was a U.S. Department of Defense Boren Scholar in Tanzania, a congressional staff assistant, and a member of the civil service in the Department of State. Over the summer, she will be working at the U.S. Embassy in Nouakchott, Mauritania as a Political and Economic Intern. Upon graduation, she will join the U.S. Foreign Service to fulfill her service requirements of the Rangel Fellowship. Ms.White Menchaca aspires to continue a lifelong career in the service.
