The relationship between the United States and Europe is facing unprecedented challenges. While the Russian threat to Europe continues to spark fears of a broader conflict, NATO is simultaneously grappling with the implications of a United States that is less committed to European security. Trade tensions and disputes over fundamental values have also reached a fever pitch in recent months, calling into question the future of the transatlantic partnership. To discuss whether the longstanding alliance between the United States and Europe will be able to adapt and survive in this new world, CNAS Transatlantic Security Program director Andrea Kendall-Taylor will host a discussion with officials from key European partners.
