Policy Director, Ronald Reagan Institute
Rachel Hoff is the Policy Director at the Ronald Reagan Institute, the DC office of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, where she leads the Center for Peace Through Strength and Center for Freedom and Democracy. She also teaches as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas at Austin’s LBJ School of Public Affairs.
Rachel previously served as Speechwriter and Policy Advisor for John McCain (R-AZ) at the Senate Armed Services Committee. She has conducted research and outreach for a number of think tanks in Washington, including the American Enterprise Institute, the American Action Forum, and the Foreign Policy Initiative. She also worked as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Mac Thornberry (R-TX).
Rachel received a master’s degree in Global Policy Studies from the LBJ School and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Tufts University. She was born and raised on U.S. military bases in Tokyo, Japan.
